RSS Merger v1.2
With this script you can load a number of RSS feeds and compile them into one RSS 2.0 file. Use it to present a mash-up of your news from different places (blogs, twitter etc.) or just present news from other sources around the Net.
Here is a sample of the RSS output, taken from our own network of websites.
This was a complete re-write for PHP 5 which has the SimpleXML extension that makes XML parsing a walk in the park. If you are still using PHP 4 though you can just use the older version.

Hi. I was trying to use your prgram to merge some feeds and keep geting the error message
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /hsphere/local/home/rozi394/rozi.com/rssmerger/rss_merger.php on line 85
So I went back and reinstalled it right out of the box with all of the original settings and the original
feed urls and still get the same thing. Just for the heck of it I Tried chmod 777, but still nothing.
Suggestions?
Thanks Ron

Yes Ron, I believe you are running the script with PHP 4.
The SimpleXML extension was introduced in PHP 5, you will need that to run the latest version of this script.

You’re right Iwas using the wrong version the older one works on my php 4 server. But I’m still having problems with on of the feeds I want to merge. It seems to prevent your app and all others I’ve tired from responding correctly. Its an online feed program and the ending is feed.php?id=4. I’ll try it and the newer version out on another server that has php5. Thanks for your response

[...] Check out it here. I know, a .CC domain is kinda suspicious (it’s the first time I see a non spam site on those domains), but the stuff is totally legit. Mad props to the coder. [...]
