Young Men’s Health. Case 3 – Craig

June 30th, 2007 by Makis

This module was sponsored by Andrology Australia in association with the Department of General Practice Monash University and Think GP. The third of four, peer reviewed cases from Andrology Australia. A case study on the identification and management of male infertility.

I created the XML file that works on the back-end and tested everything is appearing properly on the flash side while doing some basic image processing on the supplied photos.

Yakusan.TV

June 29th, 2007 by Makis

This was my last project at Modus right before I left the office. It was done for Yakusan, an marketing group promoting alcohol brands by organizing live events across clubs around the world. This work was an update to their existing website and was considered a great and necessary investment for the future.

Essentially, this was an adaptation of a previous design I had done for VNR and as it’s predecessor it is a full flash website with streaming video for it’s main attraction. Although it has a different color scheme and slightly different navigation structure from the other website, I mostly found myself removing code and bug tracking the existing application.

Modus Medica

June 25th, 2007 by Makis

The scope of this website is to promote the online services of Modus for the medical professionals. It is yet another full flash website, based on a given graphic design.

I created all the interactive elements and animations and connected the flash file with the CMS the site uses by writing some PHP code to output a dynamically updated XML file from the content available in the CMS. This XML file in turn is read by the flash site to present the content.

Prostate Cancer Risk Management – Case 1: Jack

June 22nd, 2007 by Makis

The first of a set of three case studies from The Cancer Council Queensland to examine the risk factors and review the testing options for Prostate Cancer.

I did all the programming and graphic work involved in this exercise, compiled the XML file that works on the back-end and tested everything is appearing properly on the flash side.
