Johnny Warren Football Foundation ~ New website

December 20th, 2007 by Maria

The website is dedicated to the Johnny Warren Football Foundation program, a skills/technique based program involving elite players throughout New South Wales.
The program is presently conducted on the Foundation’s behalf by Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) and Soccer NSW (SNSW) and has the support of Football Federation Australia (FFA).

I had fun creating the HTML and CSS parts of this website… and the little hand-drawn favicon :)

Penthouse Mobile

December 19th, 2007 by Makis

The Penthouse adult magazine has global acceptance for it’s quality content and discreet presentation - it’s almost a household name. This website was designed as the official place to download relevant mobile content. It has anything from screensavers, videos, wallpapers ringtones and games.

I had a major role on this project. Specifically I was assigned to create the front-end of the website, starting from the XHTML and CSS and moving on to the Velocity template compiling and debugging to ensure everything is showing up properly on the site. Additional duties included the creation and optimization of the web graphics and the content editing in the database.

Having experience from the previous website I did on the same framework for Vivid, I tried to excel in optimizing the functions that drove the site and to output the cleaner structure possible.

Modizoids - Landing page

November 30th, 2007 by Makis

This was a fairly simple landing page for Mobizoids UK.

I focused on creating clean XHTML-CSS code and did some flash editing to make the animations hit perfectly to the layout.

Vivid Mobile

November 29th, 2007 by Makis

The first big website I completed for Bullroarer - a downloads site for Vivid. It’s part of a series of websites, published by Twistbox Entertainment.

I constructed all the front-end part of the site, which included the HTML markup, CSS styling, image editing to produce the web assets and velocity scripting to create the template functions that will connect the interface with the back-end.

It is run on J2EE and there were some limitations on what I could do (compared to my previous experience with PHP) but I tried to put out my best work on my first contact with the back-end infrastructure and release a site worthy of the brand name.

Pertussis - Preventing adult to child transmission

November 28th, 2007 by Makis

Created for Think GP, the main learning objectives for this module are to recount the nature, outline the health burden and describe the transmission of pertussis.

As usual, I created the XML file driving the exercise from the back-end, did some graphic work on the background and images and some supplementary flash development.
