This script is ment to be used with one or more flat files, (that is a .txt file or other text based file), that are used as databases by other scripts, for example a directory script or a user authentication system.

What it does is, it extracts the emails from these files and sends an email to all the recipients with a message that you specify. You can even have an email template show-up so every time you have to change only the main message.

As many scripts don’t come with the email feature built-in, this is a useful tool for anyone that wants to enhance their website with a new feature.

Launched yet another website on our network called Foitites.gr, an online service for university students.

An online service that focuses on greek university students. A student can come to the site and create an online profile, insert any text he or she wants in it and through web communication meet other students from any university in Greece. The user friendly control panel does not require previous experience in working with computers.

Everything, from the graphic design and HTML-CSS to the backend scripting for the creation of the students profiles was done by me.

If you want to add some external file in your Perl script’s header or footer you can use this simple routine.

Usage: In your script add,
require "remote.pl";

then call the header and/or footer by their routine names:
